Google is jumping into the tablet market with the Nexus 7 running on the new Android Jelly Bean operating system. The new slate does not compete with Apple's iPad or even Microsoft's recently debuted Surface but instead it heads into the low end against Amazon's Kindle Fire and Barnes and Noble's Nook.
