Sweden is celebrating the arrival of a princess.

Crown Princess Victoria gave birth to a girl on Thursday morning.

The baby is now second in line to the throne behind her mother.

Victoria's husband and former fitness trainer Prince Daniel was by her side and cut the umbilical cord.

The royal couple left the clinic just four and a half hours after the birth.
