Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has broken his silence on the Republic Day third-row seating controversy, questioning the alleged sidelining of senior leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, during India’s 77th Republic Day parade.

Kharge criticised what he described as a protocol lapse and political disrespect, and also weighed in on the growing controversy surrounding Rahul Gandhi and the Assamese ‘gamosa’, further intensifying the BJP–Congress political clash at a national event.
