अभिनेत्री कंगना रनौत आज किसान आंदोलन के दौरान किए गए अपने ट्वीट्स से जुड़े मामले में अदालत में पेश हुईं। अदालत ने पहले उन्हें समन जारी किया था। आज कंगना ने अदालत में जमानत बांड दाखिल किया। उन्होंने भविष्य में व्यक्तिगत रूप से पेश होने से स्थायी छूट (permanent exemption) के लिए एक आवेदन भी दिया है, जिस पर अदालत जवाब दाखिल होने के बाद विचार करेगी। सुनवाई के दौरान कंगना रनौत ने अपने ट्वीट्स से हुई किसी भी “गलतफ़हमी” के लिए अदालत से माफ़ी भी मांगी। मामले की अगली सुनवाई 24 दिसंबर को होगी, जब छूट के आवेदन पर जवाब दाखिल किया जाएगा और शिकायतकर्ता समेत अन्य गवाहों की पेशी होगी। फिलहाल अदालत ने उन्हें भविष्य की पेशियों से छूट नहीं दी है।
