Manila residents question PH court voiding Vice President Duterte's impeachment complaint

Some residents in Manila questioned on July 25, 2025 the Philippines' highest court's decision to strike down an impeachment complaint against Vice President Sara Duterte and rule it unconstitutional. The House of Representatives impeached Duterte in February, accusing her of misusing public funds, amassing unusual wealth and threatening to kill Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr, the first lady, and the House Speaker. The court said it was not absolving Duterte of the charges.
