Triple-zero calls from people experiencing mental health crises are steadily increasing-prompting the Queensland Ambulance Service to team with mental health clinicians in a new state-wide program. The co-responder teams provide tailored treatment in a patient's home, meaning they don't need to present at the emergency department, which may further exacerbate their condition.
