Long queues were seen outside petrol stations in Rajasthan, Uttarakhand and Gujarat's Ahmedabad amid rumours of petrol and diesel shortage in the country. On June 14 evening, Indian Oil issued a statement saying, “Dear Customers,This is to assure that product availability at our retail outlets is absolutely normal.” Bharat Petroleum said, “We assure everyone that there is adequate product availability at all our Fuel Stations, across our network.” Reportedly, rumours of fuel shortage surfaced during the weekend leading to long queues at fuel stations.
