There is also a lot of craze among people regarding Janmashtami. Lord Krishna was born on this day in Mathura.

भाद्रपद मास के कृष्ण पक्ष की अष्टमी को देशभर में जन्माष्टमी का त्योहार मनाया जाता है. इस बार ये पर्व 30 अगस्त, सोमवार को मनाया जा रहा है. देशभर में जन्माष्टमी की धूम अभी से देखने को मिल रही है. लड्डू गोपाल के वस्त्र, गहने और पूजा के सामान से मार्केट अटा पड़ा है. लोगों में भी जन्माष्टमी को लेकर खासा क्रेज देखने को मिल रहा है. इस दिन भगवान श्री कृष्ण ने मथुरा में जन्म लिया था. फिर गोकुल भेज दिया गया था. जहां उनका जन्मोत्सव बहुत धूमधाम से मनाया गया. जन्माष्टमी पर लोग व्रत रखते हैं.
