Nepal’s lower houses of Parliament on June 13 passed a controversial bill which validate country’s claim on Indian territory. The lower house passed an amendment to redraw the new map including Indian area of Kalapani, Lipulekh, Limpiyadhura in the constitution of the country.

గత కొద్ది రోజులుగా నేపాల్ -భారత్ సరిహద్దులపై జగడం కొనసాగుతుండగానే .. నేపాల్ పార్లమెంట్‌లో భారత్‌తో కూడిన సరిహద్దులు కలిగి ఉన్న మ్యాప్‌పై తీసుకొచ్చిన బిల్లుకు ఆమోదం తెలిపింది. కొత్త మ్యాప్‌లో కాలాపాని, లిపులేఖ్, లింపియాధురా అనే ప్రాంతాలు ఉన్నాయి. ఆ మూడు ప్రాంతాలు భారత్‌కు చెందుతాయని భారత్ వాదిస్తోంది. నేపాల్ పార్లమెంటులో కొత్త మ్యాప్‌కు ఆమోదం తెలపడంతో భారత్ గుర్రుగా ఉంది. నేపాల్‌లో ప్రధాన ప్రతిపక్షాలైన నేపాలి కాంగ్రెస్, రాష్ట్రీయ జనతా పార్టీ నేపాల్, రాష్ట్రీయ ప్రజాతంత్ర పార్టీలు కూడా ప్రభుత్వం తీసుకొచ్చిన బిల్లుకు ఆమోదం తెలిపడం విశేషం
