Business Insider reports that David Marcus, head of Facebook's cryptocurrency Libra, testified in front of the Senate on Thursday.
Marcus stated that the Libra Association will oversee Libra and be headquartered in Switzerland.
He said will be regulated by the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
But the FDPIC says it has not been in touch with Facebook.
