Commissioner of Delhi Police, BS Bassi, whose name was nominated for the post of Chief Information Commissioner, has reportedly been dropped after Congress leader, Mallikarjun Kharge, member of the committee responsible for the appointment, opposed Bassi's candidature. The commissioner claimed he was unconcerned about such issues when asked.
