Under 19-star Shubman Gill is being termed as the next big thing in Indian cricket as the right-handed batsman impressed one and all with his impressive show in the ICC U-19 World Cup. The top-order batsman from Punjab, who was adjudged man of the tournament, has credited senior India cricketer Yuvraj Singh for his success as the senior pro and veteran guided him and gave batting tips. Gill was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for the upcoming IPL but he said the focus was on the World Cup while the auction was being held in India last week.
