After sub-Saharan Africa, the Caribbean is the region with the highest prevalence of HIV infection. A campaign by the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) is now underway in the member island nations against the spread of HIV/AIDS among the most at-risk groups. The OECS member nations are coordinating efforts to obtain funding to combat the spread of the disease and attend to those at risk and each country will report on its respective efforts in this regard.
