I carry a heart full of love
A guarded gate and covered scars
I carry a heart willing to give
A heart that loves without a care

I carry the knowledge of one that knows
I carry the responsibility to take care of others
The knowledge of how to make someone laugh
I carry the past like a solider carries’ a wound, sometimes painful but always there
I carry my thoughts always whirling through my mind always thinking and daydreaming
As my days go by

I carry my dreams and my deepest secrets,
Insecure and feelings that make me, me
My outspoken nature just a cover that hides the true me
The girl that thinks with her heart
The girl that could never be broken
That stands her ground
The one that could break your heart with just a few words
But would never dare.
